Anan
Creek Bear Observatory is the best way to see bears in their natural habitat.
This tour includes a 40 minute flight each way, and then a 1/2 mile walk up a
trail to the Observatory deck. There, you spend 1.5 hours watching both black
& brown bear fishing for the salmon making their way upstream. Anan Creek is staffed
by the US Forest Service and they limit the number of people that come into Anan
each year, so book in advance for this tour.

Another
great Alaskan Experience is fishing. We can take you spin casting or fly fishing.
You can chose the perfect lake or river system. Don't know the area? We do and
we know what makes 'em bite. Beautiful rainbow, cutthroat and dolly varden trout,
we can even find you a lake or two filled with that high altitude fighter, arctic
greyling.
Carlin Air offers
full and half day fishing trips complete with everything needed for such an adventure.
Poles, tackle, raingear, waders and even lunch is part of the deal. You of course
are welcome to bring any special gear you'd like to try. That perfectly tied goat
hair fly or maybe that brand new custom 9 foot Orvis rod. Jeff and One Papa Mike
(that's his floatplane's call sign) will be there with you at all times to offer
advice or whisk you away to another lake.
Jeff
will be fishing with you throughout the day, and will make sure that this day
is fit to your personal preferences.
